Tatu is fantastic! I’m so glad I’ve found someone close to home that I can see on the weekends for a decent deep tissue massage.

I ran my first 10km run event on Sunday and by Monday evening I really had difficulty moving my legs. I had my first ever deep tissue massage lunchtime at Beachfront and Monday morning I woke without pain. This massage is definitely a must after a gruelling run. My masseuse was professional and caring making sure I felt comfortable throughout the 30-minute session. I’ll most definitely be returning.

The massage itself was very good, however I was left disappointed that the areas I mentioned that needed targeting (due to niggles) didn’t even get worked on. I was asked if I there were particular problem areas. I mentioned “legs generally” due to running, but particularly the right thigh/quad and hip flexor area. Legs were worked, but mostly calves and hamstrings. The quad and hip flexor area were ignored totally. I was a little shocked when the end of the massage came about without them being worked, but what could I do? My time was up. Definitely walked out feeling a little like it was a waste of money as my pain points were still very much there.
